For our guests, Springside Cheese offers a selection of the finest hand-crafted cheeses that deliver nourishment to the body and soul. Working in one of our shops is like opening our guests’ fridges and seeing 200+ different cheese products that will bring a new meaning to a family cooked meal.

Our retail clerks are passionate about delivering an experience that both educates and comforts. Not everyone that visits us is all-knowing about cheese and many require a helping hand to direct them to new and delicious flavor combos. When you love cheese as much as we do, you can’t wait to share how well cheddar and cranberry complement a holiday dish, guide our guests to new possibilities and recommend products and services that will make their next event shine.

Our retail clerks are eager to learn, have a passion for their communities and aren’t afraid to help people discover new and exciting ways to use our products. All our staff members demonstrate a strong commitment to cooperation by working seamlessly across team lines and are willing to adapt and be flexible in support of company goals.

 A typical day in the life of a Springside Cheese Retail Clerk looks like:

• Helping a guest discover new products and combinations.
• Comfortably operating a Point of Sale system.
• Preparing cheese trays for events.
• Packing, labeling and merchandising cheese and wine items.
• Developing relationships with guests and wholesale customers.
• You’re preparing food so let’s keep it clean and sanitary here.
• Answering phone calls and taking orders for special request items.
• Staying on top of the latest promotions and opportunities.

 The job is for you if:

• Your schedule is open to working weekends, holidays and evenings.

Joining our family doesn’t require a degree in cheese but we do ask that you have a high school diploma or GED equivalent with at least 1 year of experience in customer service. Internships, volunteer work and side projects count. Just make sure we see where you picked up your helping-people super powers somewhere in your application.
